This is for Ann's challenge to strengthen a piece of dp. I chose to add details with markers and a paintbrush. I used my clear star glittery pen to add detail inside the foliage and then a Sahara Sand marker to add shading around. I also scribbled marker onto an acrylic block and spritzed with water to grab extra color to paint and then spatter. My sentiment was inked first with Versamark then Mossy Meadow and embossed in clear. My bg piece was made previously using the ink smash technique from a Mixability challenge a while back Marilyn's technique is to cut open a plastic bag and put ink or paint onto one side of the opened bag. I used the Distress inks. Then you spritz liberally and close the bag and smash the inks together a bit. Open the bag, pop in your cardstock (I used two pieces to get more bang for my buck) then close the bag and press the ink onto your cs. (Photos of the process on my blog) I added some glittery highlights to the bg as well. Then it was a simple layout and cheater's bow and I called it done.

Wonderful card, Gail! I love the elegant DP, pretty BG panel and the lost lagoon ribbon is the perfect color! Tan and aqua is such a pretty combination!
Gail, I love this! First off, I have some of that DP! It's being hoarded. It's the first DP that I ever worked with at a card class. I fell in love with it. Gorgeous card! Beautiful base!
