It's so cute, and super quick and fun to make. I didn't have the exact dog or the inside sentiment (so mine is blank on the inside for now), but I did have the outside sentiment. I tried to pick neutral paper similar to hers for the background. Since my dog is all one color I thought it needed a little color so I added the red border.
This may become one of my go-to cards for those last minute times when "I need a BD card in an hour!" (Could easily swap out a cat for kitty lovers.)

I LOVE your version of my card! Actually, your dog looks pretty similar to one of my own real ones. She was a skinny rescue dog and so of course, I fed her until she now looks pretty much like this. Your coloring & shadowing is great, and I love your color combo & the red border. TFS

This is such a well designed card. I love the look of red, black, and white, but I can never get it to work for me. The patterned papers and the wonderfullittle dog make this one tertific card.
