What a fun challenge for today. All about birth stones., and one neutral...I was going to use whtie, but I hope a bit of black is O.K. too for the silhouette. Mine is a Opal for October. I do like color so fun. I decided to try the Northern Lights technique, a fun way to use lots of the opalistic ( probably a new word for today...lol..)colors.
What a fun way to use my new "carolers" dies I got from a tickle from Jody Lynn...Ty so much was fun to use them.
I did the sponging for the sky, in different colors, then in black, just need to learn how to get the more wispy look, but was fun to do. there is a tutorial in the tutorial section.
Then I ripped a piece of white scrap paper, sponged a touch of blue on it then added some crystal glitter. Stamped the tree, and colored it a touch then added the snow and stars with the white paint pen. So far coming good, but needed someone for the carolers to sing to so I cut a couple scraps of black to show a porch, wasn't sure how to do more detail so made it just a bit sticking out, hoping it will look close to a front door or porch. Added the bit of snow and a couple drops of glitter glue on the roof and a couple dots for the Christmas lights.
Now off to the gallery to explore other creations ...thanks for the visit...:0)
