I made this for a friend whose grandson noticed one of my Paris cards at her house when he visited.
He liked it because he is taking French this year and he also likes cats; hence, Paris and a Kitty! I tried not to make it too "girly", but from what I hear it doesn't matter to him. I did try to add some masculinity with the black paper, rustic look, mostly yellow flowers instead of pink/red, rope and wood adhesives, but it's still kind of feminine. I think he will like it.
Just another excuse to make a Paris card as I love all things French; however, I can't speak a word of it!
Thanks for taking a look.

Oh, sweet Pam, you are a joy! It's always a delight to see one of your cards, and this is "ooh-la-la" gorgeous! And what a precious card to make for this young man who is taking French in school?!! You are a sweetheart, and I know he will love it. And that little kitty is just the sweetest! I love the soft colors you've used for the flowers (and, no, not too feminine at all - it's Paris!!) - hehe! And I agree that the black matting with the rustic jute, wood adhesives, and the embossing all work perfectly! Oh, I'm so tickled to see this card and your sweet face in my comments! Thanks for sharing this, my sweet friend! You are a treasure! Bunches of hugs!

Oh, he is sure to like this awesome card, Pam. What a sweet kitty. Your flowers look great. The wood adhesives and rope are certainly plenty masculine. I miss you and your cards....maybe before too long you'll be back full time. Hugs~~~~~and fingers crossed.
