Kristie Goulet is the guest designer at Muse:ChristmasVisions this week and her beautifully clean Christmas message card made me really want to use this stamp from Memory Box. I thought I would reverse the look of Kristie's card and do white on black, chalkboard style. As you likely know, not getting white ep all over the black cardstock is very difficult to do but I like the way the little speckles look on my final card. The ep I used is a white ep with some sparkle, which also results in a less than perfect result, which I think works as well. In the end, I stuck to Kristie's clean, white background as my card base, as well as her traditional Christmas coloured adornments at the top and bottom of her card (although my placement of the bottom holly could have been a little bit more centred...)

I think that the white 'speckles' really add to the chalkboard look and I think that this stamp is absolutely perfect - love this reversed take on the Muse! So glad you joined us at MCV this week, Meredyth!

I noticed your standout card at Merry Monday this week, Meredyth, and wanted to tell you how much I like the little touches of holly accenting the beautiful sentiment!
