Karen is our hostess this week, and she has challenged us to use gold (yes, metallic gold!) along with either white or vanilla. Our dessert option is to add a butterfly to our card. The butterfly part was easy, but the gold/white was really a challenge for me! Add to that, my Silhouette and I had a difference of opinion about how this card was going to look! ;-)
Anyway, here it is, a full vellum overlay on a white 5” x 7” card, greeting cut with Silhouette (attempt number 4, I think), and a pretty butterfly to finish it off.
Thank for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Very pretty, Barbara! Love your little hearts and the die cut looks great even if it took 4 tries! Love that butterfly too - in fact, in my second version for this challenge I am using the same die! I just didn't have it ready for tonight.

Obviously a deceptively simple card with all the attempts you made! It was well worth the perseverance because this is just gorgeous! I love the vellum overlay and the dimension of the popped up intricate butterfly.
