I thought the kite card was really cute. I had several sheets of the DSP that I never used from another project, so I thought they'd make cute thank-you notes for the girls who placed orders at a recent SU workshop that I hosted. I did two things differently from the tutorial because it was bugging me that they wouldn't lay closed (at least not enough for me, picky as I am). First, I didn't decorate the inside with the coordinating color scraps to limit the bulk. Then I used the word window punch to make a strip folded over the front and attached at the back for the front side to slide into and be held down in place. The ends of the strip in back were disguised with a second piece of the mulberry paper, and the front was covered by the ribbon and bow. I was much happier - I just hope everyone figured out how to open it without too much trouble
