I printed the Power Poppy image on watercolor paper and sprayed with a workable fixative (Krylon) before painting - I should have used more of the fixative, because some of the ink did bleed, but it added to the vintage look so I didn't mind. The matted frame was cut with Spellbinders dies.

I love this card. The colouring of the flowers is subtle, and so well complemented by the colours of the mounts and the lace and bow finishing turns it into something special. Beautiful!
This is so beautiful. You have such an artist's eye, Dina. May I ask how you get watercolor paper to go through a printer? Mine will take 98 lb paper, max! It is sooo frustrating when you've fixed the image and it still bleeds (and you do NOT want it to look vintage with that piece ..)
