Audrie took us to Forzieri for the IC today. It is full of designer fashion and accesories and a lot more. Loads of inspiration there. I saw these atomizers and loved the bright colors and the pattern reminded me of my "loved" MFT Abstract cover die. I wanted to add flowers to my card for Kathleen and when I saw these Converse White Rose Hi Top Sneakers I thought of my Impression Obsession Roses bkgrd stamp. Together, they inspired my card design. For more interest, I added a metallic "frame" and a faux cross-stitch border.
I made this card for Kathleen (Kathleen Lammie) who is nice, kind fellow Teapotter who is recovering from double-lung transplants. To join us in sending her well wishes, you can read more about it here.

Wow, Gabby! The bright, bold colors look fantastic and love the down home charm of a country quilt! I'm sure this will brighten her day! Gorgeous card!

The colors you chose and your placement of them is Spectacular!!! The addition of the cross-stitching is Perfect and really sets it off! That's a great die...I may have to get that. It has a lot of potential.

This is gorgeous -- much better than mine (from the same inspiration). I like the bigger pieces on your die. Using the background stamp you used on your "quilt" pieces. So very pretty!!!
