Trying our challenge for Ways to Use it (WT539): grids or tiles. A while back I saw this technique for a faux tile look here and loved the look so I thought I would try it today. Using my scor-pal I scored the lines in both directions. Then used 3 colors to sponge ink in each section: peach, poppy and mustard seed. I masked with 2 post-its for each section to make sure my sponging stayed in the right section. I think the rest is pretty straightforward.

WOW, Maura, this is wonderful. Yes, I've seen that technique and have always wanted to try it out. I even thought about it today. Perfect for the challenge. It makes such a great statement.
