TodayÂ’s Technique Challenge asked us to recycle a greeting card. So funny because I just did this last week for a post on this coming Wednesday! Are they spying on me?? Since I canÂ’t show that one just yet, I dug thru some more greeting cards & came across a very pretty white card that had dry embossing of mountains & an ivory shimmer embossing of little flowers at the bottom. And it also opened with another dry embossed layer behind it. So I cut those down & stacked them for the white portion of my card.
For the rest of my card, I heat embossed the pretty flowers, fussy cut them & attached them on top. I die cut a large metal shimmer layer of dark green card stock to put behind the white & heat embossed the greeting using a white pearl powder. The seam ribbon was colored w/ Copics to match & I sprinkled a few green gems around for interest.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff
