Hello all, got this one done before work, yay!!
my bought card had Hydrangeas on it so I used what I could to make a decorative edge on the left and bottom of my image panel. Sorta worked I guess. It amost blends into my lace in the light box though...weird!
I got a picture from the internet to see how to color the flowers since our winters are usually too harsh for them to survive here, I don't have any. It amazes me how one ball of flowers can have so many colors! My mason jar has a lid so I did some creative masking and cutting to make it work...also, I have pretended that I left the ring of the lid and cut out the center so that I could place my flower stem through to the water. That's my story and I'm stickin to it!
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful coloring...great idea to use a picture for using the right colors. Some of the most simple ideas can really make all the difference. It's hard to believe you can't raise hydrangeas. Even in cold Wisconsin, they survive. You just have to find a hardy variety that can survive in a zone 4 or 5 . Thanks for sharing this beautiful card. Fav'd

I'm running out of adjectives to describe your outstanding cards, Robin! I love how you used the jar and the hydrangeas are gorgeous! They are spectacular with all the hues you used to color them. Love the border from a recycled card too!
