Thank you, Watercooler Challenges for this fun technique. I had not done the iris twist in a long time. If you want to try your hand at Jackie's Iris Twist Challenge you can go here: http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspo...challenge.html
You'll see many examples from the design team as well.
Since I was unable to follow Jackie's directions, I went looking for my own. I found the instructions for the iris twist right here on SplicCoastStampers. My twisted design was created by using the squares framelits from smallest to about 4 bigger. That was a fun process. That why my sentiment states:
"They say the hardest challenges
in life make us stronger...
what a stupid system." This sentiment really applies.
I cut my strips in 6" x 1" then scored them in the middle and folded them 6" x 1/2" and started putting them on there. Thank you for this challenge. I've learned that it really is not too hard to make an iris twist.
Thanks for looking. Susie

Susie, I love it! What a great assortment of patterns to use for the iris. The image from Serene Silhouettes is perfect for the centre, too. What a great card to enter into our Iris Fold Challenge for the Watercooler Challenges. Thanks for joining us again.
