This is for the What If? challenge. I started my page with the What if I squirt glue all over the page? I applied gesso on the art journal page and then dribbled the Elmer's School Glue over the page. Once it dried, I randomly painted four colors of acrylic paint (plum, sunny yellow, cool blue and orange) No rhyme or reason, just all over. The orange was applied with bubble wrap. The rest with a large paint brush and my fingers. I then squired some watered down white paint all over and dropped some blue spritz all over. Once dried, I was supposed to peel off the glue but the paper came up with it, so I ditched that idea. I was inspired by a photo my friend posted on FB of the sunrise which led me to add green watercolor marker to the bottom third to mimic a hill. I had this stamp for awhile and never used it. As I paper pieced the girl, I looked over to the page and noticed the random paint splotches were tree shaped. I added green watercolor marker to highlight the "trees" and drew trunks. Then added the quote. I'll be posting more photos and more info on my blog.

Oh wow! This has so many wonderful details to look at. I love the colors and how your trees look. The little paper pieced girl looks fabulous. Thanks for joining in with "What if?"
