The image was colored first using Chameleon Pens – skin – NU1, hair – NU3, dress – BG4 and CG8. And Chameleon Pens work well with other coloring mediums and to match the color in the designer paper I used a Prismacolor – Muted Turquoise pencil to color the background.
Next the checked panel was cut and attached. The Perfect Layers Mini from Perfect Paper Crafting were used to cut the borders – 1/6″ around the image, 1/8″ outer turquoise and 1/2″ (from the image panel edge) for designer paper.
To give a bordered effect on the sentiment panel I used Chameleon Pen BG4 to color the very edge of the panel. ItÂ’s popped up with foam tape.
Other supplies:
Paper: AC Cardstock – textured white, Die Cuts with a View – designer papers, Bazzill – smooth turquoise, Beckett Expressions for image and sentiment
Ink: Memento – Tuxedo Black
Border die – Taylored Expressions, sentiment label
Accessories – Queen and Co. self sticking pearls, Aleene’s tacky glue, foam tape.
