I had seen someone use the bandana technique recently and this was a good opportunity to try it again. It's really fun and relaxing applying all those little dots! I popped up the border and cake and added a few tiny gems. Good thing my white pen was in working order...you know how those things dry out.

Oh, I'm so glad you used this technique. It's one I love, and have re-visited several times for horsey or western-themed cards. I wanted to try to use it this week but it just wasn't going to fit. Hmm, I do believe I have that very set of flourishes, but I've never made it look as fantastic as this!

wow Polly what an excellent job you have done of making that bandana.. It must have taken a long time to place all those dots around the flourishes but so well worth it because this is lovely.... great layout for the cake also....

How beautiful the bandanna effect is on this fab color, Polly!! I love it, and lucky you with the white pen!! I must have 20 of them, and none of them work!
