I stamped the stamp several times. I water colored the friend image with markers. I intended to make the little rectangle with the coffee cup using cracked glass technique. Well, I tried it and it didn't want to crack. Yes, I put it in the freezer first. Yes, I used 3 layers of UTEE. It just wouldn't crack. All the bending it did was make the cardstock break and then it sorta cracked by where the cup was. It was headed to the trash but I decided to cut out the cup. It is layered over the cup in the panel. I used glue and glitter to make the steam sparkle. I made this card for the mix challenge, the coffeelovers's summer blog hop, the watercolor blog hop. I also made it as a personal challenge with my friend Pam. Within a little over a months time, we both had pyrex dishes explode on us. We are sure our guardian angels are somewhere picking glass out of their backsides after protecting us. So we thought it would be fitting to make cracked glass on our cards. The hole on my card is the little holes in my sequins. I thought they kinda looked like little colorful donuts.
