Our color challenge this week is to use: Basic Gray, Crisp Cantalope, and Calypso Coral.
Dessert is sky and leaves (meaning you can pull in two more colors of sky and leaves - but downplay them)
I am in love with this Happy News die! After die cutting several from white cs, I took one of the die cuts for my top layer and sponged the branch. Then I cut the bird off of another die cut and sponged that with the coral and melon berry (my sub for cantaloupe). Stacked and glued 2 white die cuts together, then put the sponged branch and bird on the top layer, adhered to card. Matted with gray. Love the simplicity for a sympathy card. Linking also to:

This card is so lovely and creative! When I saw the colors for the week, I did not think "bird." Your creative muses were hard at work on this one and it paid off.

Maura, I LOVE the soft coloring on this gorgeous die! Haven't seen this before, but it is going on my wish list.

I keep looking at that die and wondering if I want to get it - I think your card has just convinced me that I must!! Love the way you stacked the dies and sponged them.
