This room was custom built to open into my stamproom so I could be close to hubby while he watched tv if I wanted to craft. I had a terrible time getting the architect to do it my way (he wanted it separate!) after two tries and me spelling and drawing it out, we switched to a lady who was right in tune with our vision. The only downside, when my insomniac ways send me to my room in the middle of the night, the bright lighting shines onto sleeping hubby and even though he's pretty sound as a sleeper, I am conscious of it, so I think I will get a little Ott light to have inside my desk unit for wee hours stamping

You could hang drapes over the door and tie them back like they did with pocket doors during the Victorian era. Drop the drapes when you craft in the wee hours to keep the bedroom dark. It's a decorative solution. Hope it helps! Your space is lovely!
