I've been crazy busy the last two weeks. For mother's day I visited my mom and she made me take 6 sheets of DSP from a pad she'd just bought. One sheet was a glossy domino sheet, the others gears and one was a clock. She then "challenged" me to use the dominos. So I surfed around the SCS challenges and found inspiration from peeps321 Steampunk cards. I then thought ok, I can find three terms MAY for F4A272. M=masculine A=Antique and Y=Yttrium. The why was tough, Yttrium is a silvery metal and I used German Silver Gilder's paste. For the Mix119 challenge, I used dry embossing, dimensionals and the plumbing parts are also embossed which I brought out using the gilder's past. The DSP is a grainy shot of old electrical parts and machinery. I used a variety of die cuts including a spiral, circles, rounded corners and a full page shaped background.

Obviously that domino dp was no challenge for you! I love your steampunk inspired card! The way you doubled up on the circle and backing die cut layers gives this a lot of dimension...so cool! I LOVE the gears..always a wonderful accent especially for this theme. Thanks for making a card in my honor.

I think you meant to put this in CAS323 which was the May word challenge not the F4A. Aside from that...
This is really cool, I love it! I love Steampunk!! Love metal and gadgets! Beautiful Steampunk card!

This is a super - cool masculine card. I love the metallics, to me it almost looks like a flow of gold coming from the pipe. We used to have a cat called Yttrium ;-).
