This is a quick and easy one from my archives. It sticks in my mind because it's the first one I made that kicked my brain into gear about card making. Looking at it after it was finished, all of a sudden a thousand lightbulbs went on. My little voice inside said, "Why are you wasting all that beautiful gold and teal paper that's hidden behind your image???". Said I to my little voice, "I don't know!". Duh! And a new era began in my world of card making. Now, even better, these days you can get oodles of little die cuts out of that "wasted" paper and not just frames for behind other images. When I think of all the paper I've wasted (heavy sigh) I'm glad for the kicking in of my brain. It happens now and then.

Just gorgeous, Marg. Another from your 'archives' huh?
For me, there's some wonderful about an uncolored image. I just really like them. That teal metallic is totally incredible. Beautiful card no matter when it was made.

Life's sweet little lessons in crafting should be ignored. It's fun to buy more great mattings to enhance your beautiful images! The single pearl is briliant!

Thank you so much for the wonderful comments you made about my card, especially as it led me back to your gallery. This is gorgeous and you are not alone with your light bulb moment. I still use an entire layer and never remember to use the covered up bits!!

Wow! This is beautiful!!! I was drawn right off to this card so I had to click on it to see it larger! The framing is just gorgeous with the line drawing! Love it!
