This one is a comedy of errors. I colored her with copics and pencils, got down to her socks and shoes and had a mess. The wax from the pencils globbed up so I erased as much as I could, then did the unthinkable, went over it with copics. Duh, alcohol and wax make a mess. I fussy cut her and reprinted the image, coloring the shoes and socks and pasting her on. When Susie Australia writes about her amputations, I laugh hysterically, until it happened here. After it was pasted down, the teddy ear fell off and glued itself elsewhere on the paper. I picked it off, glued it in place leaving a nice blemish on the paper near her hand. At this point I realized teddy's legs are wrinkled too but it was time to call it a day. I added the flourish, hoping it would take attention away from the damaged paper. Thanks to my lousy photography, it doesn't show up very well in the photo. Thanks for stopping by.

I'd say whatever surgery you performed was a success! This is lovely Nancy. That image is darling and wonderfully colored. Your stitching is to die for..I especially like the x's on the side..mini eyelets?..now that would cause me to panic..you certainly have the patience to do them and your exacting stitches..wow..another beauty!

You did a beautiful job recovering from all the mishaps - she's just beautiful! There's something about this that just touches my heart. Your soft coloring is gorgeous, and the lacing and mini-eyelets a wonderful touch. Love the nailheads on her pigtails, too. This is wonderful!

This looks like pure perfection to me.... are you sure you didn't only dream about mishaps. I have looked at this many times to enjoy all of the amazing details and there sure don't appear to be any blobs or goofs. Your home made walnut stain is gorgeous, however, I still remember your description of how you made it complete with bug eyes. The colors you use are ..what a soft, serene card. Into my favs and pinned.

Oh my goodness Nancy, next time I need stitches I'm coming directly to your house!!! You are a colouring artiste AND surgeon!!! This is jaw dropping amazing my friend. Ditto what everyone else wrote, I too could sit and look at this for the longest time. This looks like an aged photo found in an old story book, hard to believe it is a Digi, coulred with pencils and markers!! You are sooooo talanted Nancy. xx

Me again, I forgot to mention your incredible signature stitching and the little eyelets and nail heads. Just when I thought I couldn't be more in awe of you, I read in the ink section that you handmade the walnut ink!!!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!

A successful operation on all accounts, Nancy! So adorable and beautiful at the same time! I love all your sewing and the lacing with the mini eyelets (aren't those a pill to handle)! The overall muted colors are beautiful!

Holey Moley - this one is anything but a comedy of errors, Nancy - I cannot see any of the mishaps you described - just perfection in every step of your card! Here is that soft coloring I always admire in your work, and the nicest touches to finish with the nailheads, mini eyelets and your signature stitching!! LOVE this image - you find the neatest things to work with for your cards!!

What a beautiful soft and precious card!!! Your fantastic idea of adding the stitching ties in so well to the sweet little sewn bear. And the lacing on the right adds the perfect touch! Love it!!!
