Hi! I recently created this tag for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, but it's such a fun tag I thought I'd share it here, too.
I created the background first using Gelatos® in various shades. Then I watercolored some watercolor paper, stamped my flowers, and die-cut them with the matching dies.
I adhered a strip of patterned paper on the side of the tag. Added the denim trim (which I should have done later, but hey...I don't always follow the rules!), stamped out my stems, adhered my flower tops using different thicknesses of 3D Foam Squares, THEN, and used a stencil with Whipped Spackle.
While the Whipped Spackle was still tacky I pressed some Gold Mica into it. For some extra shimmer. You can never have too much shimmer. ;)
I stamped my sentiment with the pigment ink and heat embossed it onto the vellum. I tore the vellum how I wanted it. And realizing what a dummy I was for adhering the denim down so soon, I had to lift it up carefully to slide the vellum underneath so I could adhere it to the back. Live and learn. (Maybe.)
I added more twine. Some pearls. And ta-da! It's done. Hope you like it.
