I took a break from what I should have been doing, and made a card for this week's Technique Challenge. I had this die-cut piece on my table ready to be made into a card, and I thought it would work pretty well for this challenge. I used Scor-Tape for my three colors of Martha Stewart glitter. The loon stamp is from Repeat Impressions. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I hand-doodled around the edges. The card front looks a little red, but it's a dark terra cotta color. This card is for my dad, who will be 90 on Friday.

I love how these blues pop out from that read card. Fabulous.

What an amazing effect with the glitter through the apertures - it's almost like little strips of bling - makes beautiful sparkly "water" for the bird.
