This is my third card for the USEIT2015 challenge - for April (the first four weeks, anyway), I am using some SU sets. This also fills my quota of Christmas cards for April - but DH wants me to make it again in a non Christmas version. Not sure he realised how long it took to cut all those houses out.
Masking fluid resist for the snowy sky, which I then coloured with W&N watercolours. The houses were stamped on light (90lb) watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils, then cut out and layered up on several layers of foam tape to add depth. I sponged in the snowdrifts and stamped the sentiment, and then decided to add the little tree. It doesn't show that well in the photo, but the card base was just coloured with a metallic gold pen.

Looove this card, and it's going straight into my favorites so I can find it to CASE when I get to it. Like Kathy, I have the dies. If not, I wouldn't even attempt it. Forget how long it took to cut the houses out - it had to have taken forever and a day to COLOR them! They turned out beautiful. TFS

Too sweet, Sabrina!! DH should spring and order the house die set from SU then, if he wants you to make a bunch - love your sky and the softly falling snow - You are way ahead of me with the Christmas cards - I applaud your determination to get a few done each month!!

I love these whimsical houses... this is really the card I wanted to make when I made my house card, but my stamp is a silhouette stamp. This is just so bright and happy. I love the pinks and blues you used on the houses. So many of your cards are my favs.
