This card is an experiment. Instead of using black Stazon to stamp my image, I used Going Gray. I also used Whisper White instead of Watercvolor Paper. I wanted to see if the gray would hold up being painted with water and ink, and coloring the images with much more washed out colors. The Stazon is so dark that it really requires the much more concentrated reinker. This is a much softer painting and is cute but not nearly as compelling to me. The little girl is almost lost in the fence line. I was surprised that the gray ink did not run at all. I ordered some Steel Gray Stazon from some site yesterday and will be interested in how it looks and holds up with painting.
I used a gray artist pen to sketch the fence and trees and used Watercolor Minis fern stamp for the leaves and greenery and flowers around the fence.

This is just so adorable! I love this set. Now that I've got mine, I can't wait to play.

Kittie this is adorable. I agree...the softer touch in the gray is nice but the little girl does get a little lost...at least from my view here! Can't wait to see how the gray stazon looks. I do love the dots and daisy background too! Looks great. ~TFS
