Hi all,
Wow, what a fun challenge this is, infact, I think I may HAVE to do some more color combos before I'm done!!
For the challenge this morning, I chose Bingo straight across the top with So Saffron, Blushing Bide, Baked Brown Sugar and Cherry Cobbler.
I admite that this is MOSTLY Blushing Bride and Baked Brown Sugar but I have Cherry Cobbler in the shading and a So Saffron floor she is dancing on.
I used Redline Tape to pleat my 3/8" dotted ribbon. It was too narrow to do on my machine. The Redline tape worked great. I figured if a person could use it for hems it would work for this! I put it directly onto the back of the card and pleated then put another line of it on top of my pleasts to hold them secure. Because it was a bit thick, I added foam tape to the rest of the image panel to keep it an even plane. I used a 1/8" dotted ribbon to make my bow. I didn't have a sentiment to really go with this so I computer generated the Title of a Western song and used western font. It was an open font so that I could color it to match! I used Tea Dye Distress ink for the edges and also Brilliance ink (the pink) sponged on the rope bg.
Thanks for looking!

This card is just WOW on so many levels. I loooove the way you embossed the background and then added additional texture and depth with the distress ink in tea dye. The ribbon pleating and the curved hem of her dress further accentuates the girliness of this entire card. There's just literally so much to take in!!

Adorable! I love the pink boots, and now I'm hearing that Nancy Sinatra song (These Boots Were Made For Walking) running around in my head! Such a pretty card!

Robin, your coloring is extraordinarily fabulous! Love that boot boogie babe. The image is great but I must say when you added those colors, it came to life. Love all the embellishments you've added, too.

Fun and feminine in pink, Robin. Even your embossed rope bg is femininized(is that a word??) with pink sponging. of course, your coloring is always top-notch.
