Whoa, I ran out of room on the "accessories" field, so I'll just add here that I also used paper snips, sticky strip, a Sahara Sand marker, dimensionals, and a distressing tool. This travel journal was a TON of fun to make! I started by using crunched up Saran wrap to stamp all over a piece of Very Vanilla with various colors of ink, and then stamped over that with the splotches from Gorgeous Grunge. I backed that onto Early Espresso for the base of the cover, measured and adhered the ribbons with Sticky Strip, and created the other panels with more stamping, masking, and sponging. I chose all the colors in the Epic Day palette, because that's what is on the pages of this "This & That" journal. Thanks for looking!

This is amazing! The colors are so rich and beautiful, your saran wrap technique sounds so fun, and I love the look of texture it produced. What a wonderful project!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I LOVE your background, and it's totally something I can do - I have Saran wrap and Gorgeous Grunge. I don't really do "techniques", even though I love the look, so this is perfect for me to try! Beautiful journal cover, and great use of supplies - thanks for the detailed explanation of your process...
