I'm spending the whole of this rainy day in my craft room and it's so much fun doing some challenges.
This one is for the Ways to Use It challenge "Triple Play" - use as many different combinations of 3 as you can. Here's what I have:
3 layers (counting the cardbase)
3 butterflies
3 sequins
3 different mediums (ink, bister, shimmer spritz)
3 colours on the focal panel (pink, light brown, black)
The focal panel was done by sprinkling (on coated cs) some Scarlet bister in the middle and Natural bister around it, then spritzing with shimmer spritz and letting the colours run. When dry, I inked the text stamp with Frayed Burlap and wiped off the area that would hit the pink section. I stamped the butterflies and happy birthday in staz-on. I added 3 pink sequins for embellishment.

Susan, I think you win the prize for the most "3" combinations.....and a lovely card in the process. Your Bister bg is lovely and I like how you stamped on it.

What a pretty background. I just learned about bisters last night while visiting Nancy (stiz2003) - we did it on glossy. Love your stitched frame - must get those!! Beautiful work.
