This is going to be a birthday card for my sister...admittedly we are both book lovers and therefore, book snobs..lol. I dyed the seam binding with lilac distress ink...it looks sort of blue in the picture but IRL it is of the lavender family. I sneaked in a bit of green on the dress (Happy St. Pat's Day btw)..hope you like it. I'll probably have to give it to her in person rather than mail it cuz that brad (dark gray, not blue) really sticks out. ;)

Your card is lovely and so well done. All the elements compliment each other perfectly! I'm more of an addict, e-readers certainly made my purse lighter😄

This is so pretty Polly!! I love the image and how you've colored it. Awesome dying of the ribbon. I'm sure you sister will really love and appreciate this.

BEAUTIFUL card, Polly. Pretty vintage image and I like how you introduced the "touch of green". Love die cut framing paired with a lovely DP. Your sister will LOVE it. It's good to be a book snob. : )

This is gorgeous!!! I am sure your sister will be tickled. When I have a lumpy card, I turn it inside out and make sure the lumpy part isn't by stamp and throw some extra postage on it! Just an FYI!

Beautiful! I really need to try layering die cuts - they always look so amazing when others do it! I'm sure your sister will love this (and I'm a book snob, too)
