Description: This is another card for the Baker's Dozen Monthly Challenge Group. Our March hostess has challenged us to use the images and die cuts that she sent. This pear was fun to watercolor. I've been trying to use up some of the overabundance I have of Elegant Eggplant, so I used a touch of it around the pear, as one of the layers and to stamp the sentiment. I added a pocket-watch charm & brads. This will go to my parents. Inside: "Happy Anniversary to a wonderful pair. Congratulations on the time you have had together." As you can tell, it's a play on words - pear as in fruit, pair as in two partners in life. I'll include some pear flavored candies and a pair of gift cards. Thanks Sue for the fun kit. TFL

That pear image is lovely! I really like the way you coloured it and carried the colours to your background panels. The yellow is such a rich 'flavourful' colour if you know what I mean. :-) This is a very pretty anniversary card and full of meaning for your parents. TFS
