Well, I went downstairs to stamp every day this week with the intention of doing that day's challenge, but ended up working on cards to send out to the Coles Foundation for this month's Cards for the Cause. So today's card is a catch up card. I made a small Spring scene in a circle for Monday's TLC. (We are expecting more snow tonight after some last night, but I am ever hopeful so I am planning to bring Spring in by force of will) I used only this week's Color Challenge colors for this scene. I stamped the image on a die cut circle with the die still in place and colored with markers. Then I used my Versamarker to protect the tulip heads and birdhouse. I made a cloud stencil from punched scalloped oval and sponged in the sky. Then I colored the leaves and grass which were yellow with the Coastal Cabana ink to make them green. I liked the patterned paper because it reminded me a bit of puffy clouds. They are a bit hard to see, but I do have three small hand drawn birds in slight in my scene.
