I saw so many gorgeous samples with this SU set, I had to have it. Even though it's now retired! I combined it with an Elzybells bubbles stamp that I'd bought in their closing down sale and never used but always thought I should try it as snow falling. (Must check how long it's been sitting around uninked!) The snowfall stamp took the Elzybells white ink wonderfully (I've been struggling to find a white ink that's actually visible) and I thought the trees would look wonderful in white but the line art is too thin and they were impossible to see. So impossible, in fact, I messed up overstamping them in grey and now they have a kind of white echo around them. Sigh. Then I realised my polar bear is floating about the ground slightly. Double sigh. At least I managed to colour in the star okay!!

Your "messing up" actually ended up in a beautiful card - it looks like a late night, slightly misty winter scene - or slightly magical, which would explain why the polar bear is floating above the ground a bit!

I love the crackle effect on this wonderful blue paper. It is a really nice night scene and I love the shadow effect the trees have. And your bear just has he back feet on the next hill up. He's still standing on the snow. I think it's a wonderful card!
