Happy Chinese New Year, everyone! No, I'm not dead, just frozen. I assume most people stamp more in the winter, especially in the climates where one could be housebound. Not so with me, as I stamp in my basement and it is wayyyyyy too cold down there in the winter. But I thought, darn it, it's March 1, I'm going to stamp. I had to come upstairs to tie the cording, my fingers were numb. Yes, that's how cold it is.
More importantly, I greatly enjoyed Becky's artistry. She makes such pretty cards. I chose this one for its simplicity: HYCCT1313 Washi by bpnaz at Splitcoaststampers
I used three washi tapes but otherwise kept a similar look and theme, which was direction. Because of the larger stamp having an asian theme, before you knew it, this became a Chinese NY card. I believe in luck and fate but also that we make our own decisions, right or wrong. I often choose stamps based on whether they look good simply stamped in black or neutral. I added the fortune cookie charm instead of her button and little banners.
