I am so in love with my new Brushos and Bisters! This card used blue brushos. My friend Christine (calex) introduced me to some great masking paper (by Frisket) that works really well to stop the brushos seeping under it (unlike this earlier card which used a cheap masking paper - Snowman in a Bister Storm by susanbri at Splitcoaststampers - where the bister seeped under the mask).
I masked the circle (using a Nestie to cut out the masking paper) on coated cs, sprinkled my blue brusho around it, and spritzed with water. I let it air dry, then trimmed it down to a square. I die cut the dove out of blue glitter cs and then two more times out of scraps of cs, glued the three together to give some dimension, added it to my circle along with a stamped and heat embossed sentiment, then popped the panel up on a white cardbase.

Susan, this is bold and fabulous with that intense blue of the Brusho. I appreciate the hint about the masking paper...if I had not read your description I might have thought the circle was applied on top of your bg since it is so perfect with no seeping edges. TFS! The simple sparkling blue dove die cut was the perfect image.....there, but letting your Brusho bg be a point of interest too.

LOVE the vibrant colours of the Brushos background ... and paired with the glittery dove, it's even more spectacular. The coated card stock really looks beautiful with the Brushos ... satiny goodness!

I can just imagine how your glittery and satiny card is even more stunning IRL. Don't you just love the explosion of color from the Brushos?!? TFS my friend.

Wow, Susan! I love the rich color of the Brushos! I haven't tried those yet but did try Frisket. I wondered if you used low tack because my high tack Frisket ripped the paper quite often! Love the perfect circle you achieved by masking and the beautiful dove you chose for your focal image.
