I didn't have any of the Dusty Attic chipboard except the brick wall so I used dies I have on hand. I like that I was able to use flowers that I never use because I don't like the color.
I also didn't have the same spray mist colors so I used a combination of acrylic paints and homemade mists.
A lesson learned from the original artists video is that I wasn't fond of the finish when putting gesso on the multi-layered flowers. Instead I sprayed the flowers with bleach and that let me apply any color I wanted. Some of the bleached flowers were perfect and didn't need anymore color. An example are the soft pink roses. Before bleaching, they were hot pink.
