I used brown paper for my background, used an old credit card dipped in black paint and swiped across the ad text from an old almanac to make the tree trunks. I put a gesso wash over it all and then added my stamped horse so it would stand out. Texture paste snow and gel pen snowflakes.
We had a horse years ago and this reminds me of Tano on a winter day.

This is AMAZING!!! You really captured the style of our inspiration and made it your own. I love the texture of the snow and your trees are fabulous with just bits of print peeking out...WOW!!

WOW! This is amazing and just spectacular! The added texture from the embossing paste is perfect, and I love the way you created the trees. The horse looks wonderful standing in the trees - such a beautiful, peaceful scene!
