My first attempt at the Bokeh technique! Love how it came out!! This was the card I gave my husband for Valentine's Day yesterday.
Some more details on the card:
* I sponged Real Red and Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla cardstock.
* Then sponged Whisper White using a circle template I punched out on some scrap cardstock until I got the bokeh look I was going for. (P.S. - are there any tricks to keeping your sponges and WW ink pad clean!? I let the reds dry forever but once I started sponging the WW on, the sponge turned pink real quick! I used multiple sponges to try and save my WW, just didn't know if there was an easier way!)
* The hearts are popped up on Dimensionals.
* The smaller heart is from the Perfect Pennants set
* I was inspired by FMS154 for the layout of this card and PPA239 for the color - perfect masculine Valentine's Day colors!
TFL!!

Gorgeous card and technique. Not sure this will work, but Artist Fixative Spray on the red sponged background before you sponge on the whisper white might help. Even super cheap hairspray from the dollar store should work but it has to be aerosol, not pump. Give it a try. Thanks for playing with Pals Paper Arts!
