Sorry for the bad picture and I do believe I cheated, but DH said it needed the picture in the frame and since it's for him, I had to do it. It all came together with scraps. I think I will never run out of them.
The red background is really a very pretty dark cranberry IRL that looks and feels like handmade paper (It's not). Thanks for looking.

I have to agree with Mary, Carol. I don't see a cheat here at all! Love that paper and all the texture in it and love that you did this with scraps. How great that he really gives his opinion too. I'd love some input once in a while. What a fantastic, vintage image you chose for this!

Well, isn't that something ~ your DH telling you what his card needed! I never thought of a frame for that panel. How creative. I think it's great and so your vintage style.

Nice Valentine for DH. Your bkgrd paper does have a great, textured appearance. The b+w harlequin really sets off the colors and design. Like that frame and vintage image, too.

Romantic, vintage styled card, Carol. Love how you left the frame "open" to have the photo image of the Edwardian lady. The harlequin DP and hearts lend a contemporary twist.

Carol, this is SO perfect! No cheating at all. Why do you think that? I love everything you did. The classy woman in the frame was a genius touch. Outstanding!
