This is for Lisa's fun "Ways to Use It" challenge - use beads!!
This background is weird even by my standards, but somehow it seems to work with the girly feathered dress and beads.
This background was a muddy gelli plate print that didn't work. I tried scrubbing purple distresss ink and a chicken wire stencil, but still it looked dirty.
I then sprayed some purple Dylusions ink onto some al foil, blasted it with a lot of water from a big spray bottle (not a little msiter or gentle spritz bottle), dragged the card through the ink puddle, then sprayed and poured more water on it. I cut the A4 into three pieces - one for the card base, one for the stamps and the other for my stash.
I stamped and fussy cut the girl using kraft cardstock (I cut her legs off when I add feathers), the feathers were stamped and fussy cut, then adhered to the girl.
The beads came attached to a strip of ribbon. I stuck the ribbon under some of the feathers. The card is rather top heavy so I adhered it to 320gsm kraft card.
I had heaps of fun making this, thank you so much for looking.

Wow, I LOVE the bkgrd but you know me, weirder is better. Hee! Seriously, it kind of looks like she moved through it to the front. Kind of eerie and mysterious. Your feather dressed girl is great and the beaded ribbon makes me think of a dream catcher. GREAT card, Susie. xx

Oh Susie this is so beautiful! The spot at the top appears to be a ray of light, maybe she is a super sweet under cover angel coming to help someone in need. On my goodness those are stamped feathers and fussy cut. So stunning!! And the beautiful beads you have used are gorgeous. I love the colors the patters in the paper and the added chicken wire too. Thank you for playing in my first challenge. Hugs!!!

Now, not only do I want your card, feather stamp, and girl stamp, but I want a real life dress like this. All your steps resulted in such pretty purple bkg paper. The beads look wonderful with the feathers. Another fantastic creation.
