Was my inspiration to use a remaining mini nutcracker I'd painted, added glossy accents and trimmed in gold, and there he sat in my leftovers pile. It was nice to see another nutcracker I felt I could alter to accommodate my version.

it is a Tim Holtz stamp that I stamped with black stazon ink on 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. I then watercolored. and used glossy accents on the black and yellow bits. I actually created 4 of these for a set of Christmas cards, and I had this one leftover, lurking on my workspace.
