Today we are honoring Claudia, cjzim, as FS. I have several cards picked out to case, but they will have to wait until another day. Claudia your gallery is full of eye candy & I spent a lot of time there this morning.
My plan was to do 4 of these, but I think it's time for a new Cuttlebug. I had to do a half-dozen passes to get the pines cut, even using a shim. Course, my bug is close to 10 years old!! And, if you are wondering if embossing power lasts forever, the answer is no. Many years ago a friend gave me this red ep & it left very little shine. It was kind of disappointing. Maybe on the next one I will stamp with the red ink & clear emboss. Here is Claudia's Piney Ornament card that I cased. My pines come in from the opposite direction, I used a different ef, stamp set & colors. Thanks for this idea Claudia. I will make 3 more!!
Congratulations Claudia for being the FS & enjoy your time in the spotlight.
Thanks for stopping in.

Karen, this is so pretty. Your EF is the perfect BG for this beautiful ornament. I have pine dies and have yet to use them. Thx for the inspiration :-)

I had to laugh at your description, Karen; I have a Cuttlebug that is at least 10 years old, too : ) And I think we've all had the "dying ep" experience, lol. I have this same stamp set you used for your ornament and never tire of it. Thank you for playing along - it is an honor!
