This card was made to honor today's Featured stamper. Congrats to Claudia (cjzim) on being chosen. You have a fun gallery to play in. I chose this card
I used similar design elements and the same stamp image, but changed the rest. The first thing I did was to scan some old Christmas sheet music and print it onto card stock sized down to fit my card. I chose the Christmas carol, "O Christmas Tree". This music is very old and yellowed. It printed out a kind of light craft color. I stamped my pine trees in black ink, masking the front tree to create depth. Sponge on some More Mustard ink and then Chocolate Chip on the edges. I used some pastels to add some green to the trees. I mounted this on Garden Green CS and tied on my ribbon. Then I added some gel medium that contains white flakes that I got on sale at ACMoore. I added dd glitter to this before it dried. I dotted the trees with a white paint pen and then added glitter there, too. Snowflakes and sequins were added and then these panels were mounted on a folded Cherry Cobbler card. And one card done for this December!

Kathy, this is so pretty and a great case of Claudia's. Love the trees stamps on sheet music. I always forget about stamping on dp, and it always adds so much interest.

This is beautiful stamped on the aged looking sheet music and I love your snowy, sparkly branches and the snow on the ground. Beautiful Christmas card ~ thanks for playing; it is an honor!
