For this week's MIX challenge, we were asked to repeat a shape within our design. I found this very interesting background technique on Pinterest : http://www.pinterest.com/pin/521362094337942071/
And gave it a go with some of the acrylic paint I had on hand. The paint dries fairly quickly, so you really don't have to wait in between colors. Next, I got my stencil and use the dark charcoal grey (almost black) creamy chalk and dabbed my repeating shape. Lastly I die cut and used Scor-Pal tape to adhere to the card base. The card is actually a little brighter IRL. Oh well, it is going off to one of my good friends who needs a little cheer
