I love this, Sophie! I think it's the bright colours and the simple wording, it took me right back to when my mother used to teach French in the local school, and I'd sit in the back of the classroom. (Feeling envious of my younger brother and sister - my brother finished earlier, and my sister was home-schooled for a few years, so they were safely tucked away with a neighbour watching cartoons on TV, and we didn't have TV ourselves! Time came when I taught French in the same school.) She had a wonderful flannelgraph set that she used, and this brought it straight back to my memory. I love your colour combination, too, with those jewel colours. Merci!!

J'adore ta carte "maison", Sophie Both you and Sallie used the same theme and palette today and I love both these adorable, fresh, "spring is in the air" cards Such a whimsical delight; I would love to stumble across such a scene in my travels.
