Today the Teapotters are making cards for Uncle Lloyd (momof5sons--Marie.) He lost his wife of 65 yrs last fall and needs some cheer and comfort. Among his interests, is gardening. I didn't have stamps to fit the challenge so I sought out photos to color on the internet and found this one at a website in the U.K. I thought it was nice.
Colored and watercolored with Prisma + Derwent watercolor pencils, SU markers, Ranger distress inks, and added white Signo gel pen details to the bunny (feet and tail.) Adhered Hot Off the Press paper (old!) to Scrapbooker's Adhesive foam sheet (for dimension) and cut fence with my TE picket fence die. Distressed crackle print with Ranger di. IO bunny cut from SU light pink, added marker/gel pen details and adhered.
Hope my card will bring Uncle Lloyd a smile and some happies.
Thanks for looking!

Oh Gabby, I laughed out loud with sheer delight - this is wonderful! This garden page actually looks quite a bit like the variety seen in Uncle LLoyd's garden - and the fence and bunny are the perfect complements. Believe it or not, you won't often see Uncle Lloyd in that position, but he will just love this! Thank you so much for coming to Uncle Lloyd's Teaparty...and take some of those extra cookies that I baked. Big ol' hugz from NJ my friend...stay warm!

WooHoo Miss Gabby this is brilliant. You found the perfect picture and made it even more special with your colouring. It must have taken just as long to put all your colouring supplies away as it did to make the card. LOVE it all.

Fabulous colouring and texture, Gabby! And a great image, too - no wonder he's dropped off over the paper after all the digging. I especially like the bean poles. This reminds me a bit of a woodblock-style book illustration.

Lots to look at on your card, Gabby!! Though I don't think Marie's uncle Lloyd is one to sit down - at least not till the end of the day - looks as though his garden is well tended! Great coloring and love the bunny trying to figure how to get into the garden!!
