A very nice challenge, Paula, who couldn't use a fresh perspective each morn? I try to be open to every opportunity that comes my way. My card is a view from my kitchen window into the beauty berry that graces our front walk. Tucked into the trellis, is a metal plaque which has the very essence of a book titled, 'The Precious Present' by Spencer Johnson.
I remember when it was published in 1984...loved it then and love it today.
Today is a gift that's why it is the present. If you haven't ever read this profound lil' book, I highly recommend you find a copy in a used book store...buy several, you'll want to begin to give the present away!!!
I cropped a photo of the view (quote) framing it with an unknown window stamp. The white background is embossed with a 'woody' ef. The fun pom-pom ribbon mirrors those fat berries on the beauty berry. Sad to say the fat robins have been gorging themselves for a month now and what they couldn't get to, the chickadees are feasting on!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are present in your gift today!

As always, your creativity amazes me! What fabulous words to live by, presented so cleverly. I love all the texture on this, I wish I could see it IRL!

What a fabulous photo, Susan and love the way you mounted that plaque amidst your berries! How perfect for today's challenge to use those thought provoking words! Love that frame and the matching ribbon. Your cards are always so creative!

This is the coolest way to get a sentiment on a card! How awesome! Beautiful card and a beautiful view you have!
