I made this card for today's Free for All Challenge and yesterday's Ways to Use It Challenge. My stamping buddy's DH has been in the hospital since before Thanksgiving, so I really wanted to make him a get well card yesterday, but I worked and just didn't get to it. So when I saw the F4A posting late last night, I started thinking about this card. I used the computer to make a text block of Get well phrases and printed this out on white CS. I used my new Sizzix Pine die to cut three trees out of this. I don't own any distress inks so I swiped my SU pads onto a craft sheet and did the wrinkle free distress with that. I tried adding coarse salt, but I don't know how effective that was. I sponged my trees and layered them onto the background piece. I added some coarse glitter and a blue jay. The sentiment is computer generated, printed onto CS and sponged. Brads are several layers of CS punched with a 1/4" circle punch and shaped to round them.

Your trees are great with all the get well wishes on them. I'm sure your friend's DH will appreciate the card. It has a masculine feel which is, I'm sure, what you were going for.
