This week, the tea party is headed to Joyce. She is a huge fan of Downton Abbey and is in real need of cheer.
Polly (Peeps321) sent me this stamped image a while ago (thank you Pol!) and while it is not an Abbey, it does lend itself to the time period, I think. I colored the manor image with copic markers and used sponging for the clouds. Then, I cut the image to the same size as an ATC and added the other images to the kraft background. I used a Tim Holtz marker to lighten the faces of the girls. Not sure if I like how that turned out or not. The sentiment is stamped in different colors for Joan's TLC challenge.
Thanks for taking a peek and if you have time, please think about making a card for Joyce!

This is great..I lke the way you made that mansion your "abbey" and surrounded it with the images of sisters/friends. Your fashionable lady in the upper right fits the Downton style perfectly..Joyce will appreicate this lovely card.

This is a wonderful card to celebrate a sister, Kathleen, love the gorgeous manor house stamp and the dear little girl stamps - my sister and I shared a room when we were growing up and I can relate to the story, she was the messy one LOL!!

Beautiful card and images, Kathleen. The top left one reminds me of a photo (the only one I ever had, and my dad borrowed it to copy and lost it :-() of my French grandmother, whom I never met. The other ones remind me so much of the Kate Greenaway books we used to read at my Irish grandmother's.

This reminds me of the family's London house, a beautiful georgian mansion. You have put so much thought into this card you are sure to bring back some treasured memories.
