Embossed dark blue core'dinations paper lightly sanded to reveal a white base of the Fireworks EF. The various fireworks were then colored using a variety of techniques. For the green and silver fireworks I gently tapped the inks on the embossed areas. For the yellow gold and red stars, I had to cover over other colors I'd tried and didn't like. The white pigment pad was great to give me a new base white to work from. Using Wink of Stella Glitter gold and WOS glitter red I went over the fireworks and stars respectively. It took several coats of the WOS to make the colors show up. Every New year celebration needs a clock so I die cut the clock and hands then embossed and colored the embossed areas with black ink. To indicate the flight of time the clock had parchment paper glued on top of it. Clear gems filled in the middle of the fireworks to add more bling. The stamp was masked so only "cheers to the New Year" would print. Then the two little squirrels stopped caught in the moment watching the spectacular fireworks. the squirrels and clock were popped up using foam pads. The dark blue paper sits on top of a music sheet( Auld Lang Syne) which is on top of the aqua card base.
